Wetherspoons worker Amadou Gillen discovered he had won £4 million on a UK National Lottery scratchcard during his lunch break, but returned to finish his shift with the valuable ticket stuffed in his pocket! The 46-year-old father-of-two has been employed by the bar in Trowbridge, Wiltshire for five years, but said at a press conference to announce his win that he would look to invest some of the windfall and would not be returning to work.
