With the 2014 World Cup only three months away, football fans are being urged to be on the lookout for a new World Cup lottery scam currently in operation. The scam, which targets mainly UK residents, consists of scammers sending out letters to inform people that they have won a prize from an international lottery draw. The recipient is most commonly informed that they have won a ticket worth £900,000 for the Brazilian World Cup.
