UK Residents Warned Over Postcode Lottery Scam

Trading Standards in Halton, North West England, have warned residents about a Postcode Lottery scam which informs potential victims that they have won a large sum of money. The scam first came to light after a Runcorn pensioner received a letter claiming to be from the People’s Postcode Lottery informing him that he had won £825,000.
