This Tuesday saw SuperEnalotto conduct its first draw following dramatic changes to its prize structure. The draw saw an astonishing 321,431 players each claim a prize, including 272,517 participants who matched two main numbers to win €5.53 each. Although the jackpot remained intact, one lucky player did manage to scoop a super €34,647 when they matched four main numbers and the SuperStar.
Thanks to these fresh rules, ticket holders now need to match just two numbers from the main SuperEnalotto draw to win a cash reward, increasing the overall chances of winning a prize to just 1 in 20. This perhaps comes as a welcome relief to the regular participants of what is widely considered to be the world’s most challenging lottery.
