Lotto winners David and Carol Martin, of Hawick in the Scottish Borders, were presented to the public today after snapping up half of Saturday’s £66 million jackpot and said they would use the money to fund their early retirement, help out their family and friends and donate to good causes. David told the assembled press “there are charities which are important to us...parts of our community have also been hit by flooding and we know lots of people who have struggled in recent times so there's a lot for us to work out but it's a nice problem to have."
