Saturday night saw the Powerball jackpot estimated at a whopping $310 million but in fact the amount at the final count was just over $336.4 million as players spent up on extra tickets for the change to be a big winner. When the results were drawn it was revealed the Rhode Island is home to the $336.4 million Powerball winner making this a record breaking win for a single ticket holder beating the previous record of $314 million back in August 2007.
