A man accused of ripping off members of a lottery syndicate after winning AU$16.6 million on the Australian Powerball may have struck a secret deal with the group. Reports have suggested that syndicate members are ‘very happy’ after reaching an agreement with Gary Baron out of court, although it is unclear whether he has actually made an offer to share any of the money.
