Christmas Eve saw the Powerball jackpot at $125 million and the Florida Lotto at $50 million and both the Florida Lotto and Powerball jackpot were won by single ticket holders. The Powerball jackpot went to one winner from Maryland whilst the Florida Lotto jackpot went to a winner from Tallahassee, a fantastic start to the festivities for these lucky winners. The Florida Lotto jackpot had been rolling since 17th September 2011, a total of 28 rollovers whilst the Powerball jackpot had been rolling since 23rd November 2011.
