A City worker discovered she had won £1.2 million in the EuroMillions Mega Week draw on Tuesday 27th September and celebrated by buying a lipstick worth £5. Liz Anderson, who works as desk support on a trading floor in London’s financial district, initially ignored an email from the National Lottery in her inbox the morning after the draw, presuming she had won one of the lower-tier prizes. The 45-year-old eventually logged in to her online account whilst on a break and discovered that she was a millionaire.
