The EuroMillions jackpot on Friday was won by a single ticket in the UK, giving the island nation its first EuroMillions jackpot success of 2014. The final value of the top prize on Friday was £107,932,603 (€129,384,564) and that is the fourth biggest jackpot that has ever been won by a lottery player in the UK. The biggest win of all occurred in July 2011, when Colin and Chris Weir from Scotland landed a EuroMillions prize worth £161 million (€185 million). Adrian and Gillian Bayford won a larger prize in Euro terms in August 2012 (€190 million) but the exchange rate at that time meant that the sterling equivalent was £148 million.
