This weekend saw mixed fortunes for players of lotteries around the world, with some jackpots being won by single ticket holders, some jackpots rolling over and others being won by multiple ticket holders. Of course, the recent Euromillions jackpot was still on players’ minds, with the second biggest jackpot this year being won on Tuesday 13th November 2012 by a single French ticketholder, whom, at time of going press, has still not come forward to claim his/her or their prize. However, this weekend saw the Powerball top $214 million, plus the SuperEnalotto reach €22.5 million, so there were still lots of big prizes out there to play for.
