Goodbye Lotto Dream Numbers

Postby paulvev  » Wed 16 Feb 11, 21:36

The last ever UK Lotto Dream Number game was played on Wednesday 9 February, less than five years after it was launched in July 2006. It would have been very nice to report that the last Dream Number game resulted in someone winning the £500,000 jackpot, but unfortunately nobody managed to match all seven digits of the Dream Number, which was 3748995. The good news is that one player did match the first six digits of the Dream Number, and won a prize of £50,000 as a result. 29,400 other prizes were also won by players matching the first 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 digits.

Another piece of good news is that as we say goodbye to Dream Number we also get to say hello to a brand new Lotto Plus 5 game. Like Dream Number, Lotto Plus 5 is a game that is open to anyone playing the UK Lotto game, but instead of there being just two draws per week (as there were with Dream Number) there are five per week, and these will be held on the days when no Lotto draw takes place.
