Postby worldlottery.net » Mon 05 Feb 18, 15:30

The EuroMillions jackpot has surged past the £100 million barrier following a run of 10 draws without a winner, and players all over Europe will now be dreaming of what they would like to do if they snap up the incredible fortune. But just how big is the current jackpot in comparison to previous big wins? EuroMillions has been played since February 2004 and has seen 1,082 draws take place. In that time there have been 380 jackpot winners and the record is jointly held by three ticket holders, who have all claimed the top prize after it has reached its cap of €190 million. Adrian and Gillian Bayford were the first players to pocket the maximum jackpot (worth £148.6 million) back in August 2012, before their record was matched by a Portuguese participant in October 2014. Another ticket worth €190 million was sold on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria on Friday 6th October 2017. If there is a single winner of Tuesday’s £101 million (€116 million) jackpot, they will become the 15th biggest winner in the game’s history.
