The UK EuroMillions winner who scooped £61.1 million (€72.4 million) on Friday 29th July has claimed their award, although it is not yet known whether or not they will reveal their identity at a press conference. Winners of large prizes on UK National Lottery games are provided with financial advice as standard and are then given the option of staying anonymous or going public at an event organised by the lottery to which the nation’s press are invited to hear the lucky player recount their story.
