A group of UK EuroMillions winners from Coventry have been lending a helping hand in the community ahead of Christmas. Bill and Cath Mullarkey and Ian Dunn and Karen McDougall took time out to serve up a festive feast for the city’s pensioners at the Jubilee Crescent Community Centre. Both couples were lucky enough to land prizes of £1 million after playing different games from the National Lottery. Bill and Cath’s good fortune arriving in July of this year, when the couple of 25 years landed a seven-figure sum in the UK Millionaire Maker draw, while Ian and Karen’s success was enjoyed in October 2015 when they got lucky on a scratchcard. Still buoyed by their jackpot joy, the winners opted to help those in need by serving dinner for elder members of the community and decking the hall in brightly coloured bunting.
