The hefty nine-figure sum is one of the biggest prizes ever offered to players of the pan-European lottery and has left hopefuls eager to snap up tickets ahead of the 7:30pm (8:30pm) deadline. This gigantic jackpot has been on the rise ever since a Superdraw on Friday 15th September saw the game offer a guaranteed top prize of €130 million (£114.5 million). Four rollovers later and the jackpot, which is currently the biggest in the world, has leapt to its highest total since October 2014, when an anonymous Portuguese player landed €190 million.
